Zenless Zone Zero is HoYoverse's urban action role-playing game, developed by miHoYo and published worldwide by HoYoverse. We have no live-stats API for this game the way we do for Roblox titles, so this hub is built from HoYoverse's own Version 3.1 update-announcement and special-program pages rather than a tracker's paraphrase. The current patch, Version 3.1 "The Long Goodbye," deployed on July 29, 2026 at 06:00 UTC+8 and runs 42 days, closing September 9, 2026 at 06:00 UTC+8, per HoYoverse's own update-announcement page.
What Is Live Right Now
The following comes from HoYoverse's own Version 3.1 update-announcement page and Version 3.1 special-program announcement, both read August 18, 2026 — not from a tracker's summary.
- Version 3.1 "The Long Goodbye" is Main Story Season 3 Chapter 2, per HoYoverse's own page. It deployed July 29, 2026 at 06:00 UTC+8 and runs 42 days, closing September 9, 2026 at 06:00 UTC+8.
- Two new S-Rank agents. HoYoverse's announcement adds Remielle, named as the first playable agent carrying the new Lumiflux attribute, on the "Paradise Regained" banner, and Sigrid, an Ice-attribute Attack agent, on the "'Till the Ends of the Sky" banner launching in the patch's second phase. An S-Rank Bangboo named Ariel is also added, on the "An Outstanding Partner" banner.
- New permanent content. HoYoverse's page lists a new explorable district, Booastrum - Gear Street, unlocked after finishing the update, and a new permanent roguelike mode called Enigma of the Labyrinth, whose first iteration, "Operation Bagel," launched August 5, 2026.
- Second-anniversary rewards. Per Gaming Age's July 4, 2026 report on HoYoverse's anniversary reveal, all players can freely choose one of five limited S-Rank agents — Jane, Soldier 0 - Anby, Trigger, Hugo or Lucia — plus its matching signature W-Engine, alongside 1,600 Polychrome and 10 Encrypted Master Tapes.
- Maintenance compensation. HoYoverse's own page states players who reached Inter-Knot Level 4 before the update received 300 Polychrome for server maintenance and 300 Polychrome for issue fixes, claimable before August 28, 2026 at 23:59 UTC+8 — a window that has since closed.
Background
Zenless Zone Zero launched on July 4, 2024 for Windows, iOS and Android, with a PlayStation 5 version the same day and an Xbox Series X/S version following on June 6, 2025, per Wikipedia's entry on the game, accessed August 18, 2026. It is developed by miHoYo and published worldwide by HoYoverse, built in Unity. The setting is New Eridu, a city built around supernatural disaster zones the game calls Hollows; players take the role of a Proxy who guides teams of Agents and a Bangboo companion into them. Version 3.1, released July 29, 2026, coincides with the game's second anniversary and is the second chapter of the game's third narrative Season, per HoYoverse's own update page.
How the Game Works
Zenless Zone Zero is a real-time action role-playing game. Combat uses a team of three Agents plus one Bangboo companion, switching between Agents mid-fight, per Wikipedia's summary of the game. Characters are obtained through a gacha system, and HoYoverse's own Version 3.1 page confirms the current roster additions run through two agent banners — Remielle's "Paradise Regained" and Sigrid's "'Till the Ends of the Sky" — plus a separate Bangboo banner. That is the limit of what we are stating first-party. We have not played Zenless Zone Zero and we are not going to describe rotation orders, stat priorities, or which agent is strongest this patch from other sites' summaries — if we cannot trace it to an official HoYoverse or first-party page ourselves, it does not go on this page.

Codes
Zenless Zone Zero codes are redeemed through HoYoverse's own web portal rather than an in-game code menu alone — Inter-Knot Level 5 is required before redemption unlocks. Our Codes page tracks the current source-listed signals, including where trackers disagree, and was last checked August 16, 2026. Livestream codes for this game are single-code, hard-expiry drops: the Version 3.1 special program aired July 17, 2026 at 19:30 UTC+8 and dropped one code during the broadcast, per HoYoverse's own special-program announcement page.
Update Rule
We do not repeat a promotion as live without checking its stated window, and we do not quote a patch version without its release date. This page records what HoYoverse's own pages stated, and when we read them.
