NEWUPDATE — has support from more than one editorial account as a current signal, and even that one has a dissenter. Two trackers still print a handful of retired codes as active, and we explain below why we do not follow them. If you came here for a long list of working codes, no honest page can give you one today. The game's own Roblox description does not publish a code list either, so there is no first-party list to fall back on.Codes to Check First
| Code / Signal | Reward as listed | Status |
|---|---|---|
NEWUPDATE | Free Present | Three of five sources list it active, including the two most recent checks — Bloxodes (August 16) and Roblox Den (August 16) — plus Beebom (August 1). Bloxodes and Beebom give the identical reward wording, "Free Present"; Roblox Den describes it only as free rewards. TechWiser (August 12) files it as expired. Three to one in favour, but a real dissent, so we are not calling it working |
ONEBILLION, SIXSEVEN, HAPPYMAY, 100K, CHRISTMAS2025, CONTRACTS, THANKSGIVING | Historical rewards — see below | Expired. Beebom, Bloxodes and TechWiser all file the full set as dead. Roblox Den and Pocket Gamer still print some of them as active; we explain why we do not follow them below |
Sources checked August 16, 2026: Bloxodes (its own stated update: August 16, 2026), Roblox Den (its own stated check: August 16, 2026), Pocket Gamer (its own stated update: August 15, 2026), TechWiser (its own stated update: August 12, 2026), Beebom (its own stated update: August 1, 2026). Game figures read directly from the Roblox platform API on August 16, 2026. Roblox Den and Dexerto have been observed publishing the same list under two brands, so we count them as one editorial account. GGGuides labels these as dated signals unless confirmed in-game.
The Split on the Expired Archive
The five sources fall into two camps, and the smaller camp is not a camp at all — it is two separately outdated pages that happen to be wrong in different directions.
Beebom (August 1), TechWiser (August 12) and Bloxodes (August 16) all retire the same seven codes. Three accounts, spread across two weeks, arriving at the same expired set is a strong signal, and the freshest of them is a same-day check.
Pocket Gamer (August 15) still prints ONEBILLION as active. But Pocket Gamer does not list NEWUPDATE anywhere on the page — not as active, not as expired — even though every other source has carried that string for months. A page that has never registered the newest code is not a page that has re-tested the oldest one. That is a stale list, not a live dispute, and we treat it as such.
Roblox Den (August 16) goes further and prints five codes as active: ONEBILLION, SIXSEVEN, 100K, NEWUPDATE and CHRISTMAS2025. Note that this does not agree with Pocket Gamer either — Roblox Den keeps four codes alive that Pocket Gamer has already buried. The two dissenters contradict each other as much as they contradict the majority, which is what you would expect from two pages that simply retire codes lazily rather than from two pages that discovered something. Roblox Den's expired section holds three entries where the other trackers hold seven or eight, which is the tell.
So the tally on ONEBILLION is three retiring against two keeping, with the retirers including both the earliest and the latest checks. We file it expired and name the dissent rather than hiding it.
The Archive Is Where the Credibility Is
A short active list is not the same as a weak page. The expired archive here is well-formed, and it is the reason we trust the sources on the one code they do carry.
The billion is real. ONEBILLION is a milestone code, and the milestone checks out against the platform: the Roblox API reports 1,194,821,611 visits for Hypershot as of August 16, 2026, so the game passed one billion visits well before this code appeared in any list. A milestone code celebrating an event that never happened would be the clearest possible fabrication signal. This one is anchored to a number anybody can verify.
The archive is chronologically coherent. Against a May 17, 2024 release date, the run reads as a plausible two-year history: THANKSGIVING and CHRISTMAS2025 at the seasonal points, HAPPYMAY at another, 100K at an early milestone long since dwarfed by the current counters, CONTRACTS named after a feature, SIXSEVEN after a meme, and ONEBILLION at the late milestone. Nothing in the sequence is out of order relative to the launch date.
The shapes are varied. Reduced to letter and digit patterns, the eight strings run across several distinct forms — plain words of very different lengths (CONTRACTS, THANKSGIVING), fused compounds (ONEBILLION, SIXSEVEN), a word plus a year (CHRISTMAS2025), and one that leads with digits (100K). Lengths run from four characters to twelve. Generator output does not look like this; it converges on one rigid template.
The reward currencies belong to this game. The rewards attached to the expired codes are paid in coins, gems, cases and charms. The developer's own Roblox description names coins and gems as the earned currencies and refers to cases directly in its purchasing disclaimer — so three of the four are confirmed first-party. Charms is the exception: it does not appear in the developer's description, and it reaches us only through third-party reward text. We are noting that rather than glossing it. The amounts are also internally sensible, with SIXSEVEN reported as paying 67,000 coins and 6,700 gems — a reward built around the code's own joke, which is not the sort of detail a fabricated list produces.
A Small Sign the Lists Were Written Separately
The sources do not render one entry the same way. Pocket Gamer prints the Christmas code as CHRISTMAS; Beebom, Bloxodes and TechWiser all print it as CHRISTMAS2025. Reward wording diverges the same way — the billion code's three items appear in a different order and with different phrasing on each page that lists them, while naming the same three things. Divergence that small, on lists that otherwise agree, is evidence the pages were typed out separately rather than copied from one another. It also means one of those two Christmas strings will not redeem, and nobody has said which.
How to Redeem
- Launch Hypershot and let the main menu load.
- Click the Rewards button.
- Scroll to the "Enter Code Here" box.
- Type or paste the code exactly as written.
- Click Redeem.
The sources describe that path consistently. Bloxodes adds one gate the others do not mention: it states you need to play at least one match before the full menu unlocks. Nobody contradicts that, so playing a round first is the safe route if the Rewards button is not doing anything. Roblox Den flags the codes as case-sensitive — enter them exactly as printed. No source publishes an expiry date for any Hypershot code, current or retired, so we do not print one.
When New Codes Drop
Rarely, and without a schedule. The archive suggests codes arrive around seasonal holidays, at visit and like milestones, and alongside named feature updates — and the gaps between them are long, which is why the active list is one row today rather than ten. Sources point to the official Hypershot Discord as where codes appear first.
Update Rule
We do not mark a code as active just because another page says it is active. The page records what was checked, when it was checked, and what players should verify next.
