Anime Squadron is a lane battler and tower defense hybrid on Roblox developed by Komplex Studio. The anime multiverse has collapsed into a single battlefield, and players recruit familiar warriors — from One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, and more — to defend against waves of enemies. The game launched in June 2026 and reached Update 4.0 in September. Pro Game Guides ranked it #5 on its trending Roblox code games list for the week of September 2, 2026, with roughly 14,200 concurrent players.

Coverage stance: We have not played Anime Squadron ourselves. This hub covers the developer's own description, tracker-reported player figures, and the code system as documented by the trackers we cross-check. No invented builds, no fake active-code promise.

How the Game Works

Anime Squadron blends lane battler mechanics with tower defense. Players summon anime-inspired units from a gacha pool, deploy them on lanes to intercept enemy waves, and reroll unit traits for optimal stats. Units are drawn from multiple anime universes — One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, and others — with rarity tiers ranging from Common to Secret. The summon system uses Gems as its primary currency. Reijatsu Crystals and Trait Shards are used for trait rerolls and unit upgrades. Reroll Cubes allow stat resets.

Progression and Currency

The main progression currencies are Gems (summoning units), Reijatsu Crystals (trait rerolls and upgrades), Trait Shards (unit stat upgrades), Reroll Cubes (stat resets), Gold (basic purchases), and Bounty Tickets (special rewards). Codes distribute all of these, making early-game progression significantly faster. Higher rarity units (Mythic, Secret) are extremely rare summons, so saving Gems for rate-up events is a common strategy.

Codes

Anime Squadron has an active code system. Codes are redeemed by clicking the Codes button on the left side of the screen. Note: some codes require reaching Level 5 or Level 10 before they can be redeemed. As of September 10, 2026, we cross-checked three trackers: Destructoid (Sep 9), IGN (Sep 7), and Pro Game Guides (Sep 6). Five codes are confirmed active across all three sources. All five are brand new, tied to Update 4.0 and the 10K CCU milestone.

Update Rule

We do not mark a code as active just because another page says it is active. This page records what was checked, when it was checked, and where the evidence runs out. Codes are dated source signals until verified in-game.
