Anime Apocalypse is an anime dungeon hack-and-slash zombie game from Anime Apocalypse Dev, a verified Roblox group. Every figure on this page comes from Roblox's own public API rather than a tracker's paraphrase, and each one is stamped with the moment we read it. At 14:30 UTC on August 23, 2026 the game was live as [Now!] Anime Apocalypse with 7,859 players in game and 132,739,182 lifetime visits.

Coverage stance: We have first-party numbers and first-party Beta description facts for Anime Apocalypse, and we have not played it. This hub stops where our evidence stops — there is no strategy guide here and no invented mechanics. Our codes page treats every code as a dated source-listed signal, with three corroborated signals, many single-source cautions, disputed codes, and a large expired archive.

Live title at reading: [Now!] Anime Apocalypse · Developer: Anime Apocalypse Dev (Roblox group 534034976, verified badge) · Universe 9073513091, root place 140409475718339.

One thing worth noticing: the live title at reading carries a "[Now!]" prefix, which the platform uses to flag active promotion on the storefront. The description field itself is evergreen Beta copy — it names no specific event, code, or patch, only promising frequent updates, new content, and balance adjustments. So the title tag and the description disagree on how specific to be about what is live right now, and we treat the description as the first-party source of record.

What These Numbers Actually Mean

Raw counts are easy to quote and easy to misread. These are the three derived figures we use internally to judge whether a game is durable, and what they say about Anime Apocalypse.

  • Favourites as a share of visits — 0.128%. This is a retention signal: how many of the people who showed up cared enough to bookmark. Anime Apocalypse's 0.128% sits in the normal band for a healthy Roblox experience. It matters because the raw favourite count alone can be gamed — some games hand out an in-game reward for favouriting, which pushes the ratio to 1.5% or higher and tells you nothing about whether anyone came back. Anime Apocalypse shows no sign of that.
  • Favourites per concurrent player — about 22 to 1. This compares the size of the returning population to the size of the room at any one moment. A ratio near 22 to 1 indicates a healthy rotating audience that cycles through rather than a small one that never leaves — the kind of turnover a growing Beta title needs.
  • Approval at 95.4% across 162,943 votes. The vote count matters as much as the percentage — a 95% rating on ten thousand votes is noise, while 95.4% on 162,943 is a settled verdict from a large sample for a game still in Beta.

Original illustrationAbout thirteen in every ten thousand visitors favourite the game — the 0.128% figure above, drawn as a picture. Our illustration of that ratio, not a chart generated from the data.

Put together: nine months old, in Beta, carrying nearly eight thousand concurrent players, a normal and unmanipulated retention profile, and a large-sample approval rating. That is a healthy growing title rather than a spike. We are not putting an all-time platform rank on the visit count, because we did not verify one.

What Is Live Right Now

The game's own description field on the Roblox API, read August 23, 2026, is Beta evergreen copy — first-party, but naming no specific event, code, or patch. What follows separates what that first-party field says from what a third-party wiki claims.

  • Beta evergreen description. The description promises frequent updates, new content, and balance adjustments without dating or naming any of them. It is first-party, but evergreen rather than a timestamped patch note.
  • Promotional "[Now!]" title tag. The Roblox listing's live title carries a "[Now!]" prefix, which the platform uses to flag active promotion on the storefront. The title tag is a first-party field, though it does not name what "Now!" refers to.
  • "Tempest King + Summer Event" — third-party. BloxInform's wiki page, updated August 22, 2026, names the current update as "TEMPEST KING + SUMMER EVENT" and lists a SummerEvent code and a THETEMPESTKING code. This is a third-party claim, not from the description field, and we hold it as such rather than promoting it to fact — see the codes page for how we treat those signals.

Note the source mismatch: the description field is evergreen Beta copy naming no event by name, while BloxInform's third-party wiki names the Tempest King + Summer Event and two codes. We flag that discrepancy rather than smoothing it over — see the codes page for how we treat those signals.

Background

Anime Apocalypse launched on October 31, 2025 and has been in Beta with continuous updates since — the most recent developer update recorded by the platform was August 22, 2026 at 17:19 UTC, the day before this reading. Across those nine months it has accumulated 132.7 million visits, which averages out to roughly 443,000 visits per day of its life, though real traffic is far from evenly spread.

Original illustrationAnime Apocalypse is a dungeon hack-and-slash at its core, per the developer's description. Our illustration of that idea — the corridors shown are not the actual dungeons.

The description field is evergreen Beta copy — it promises frequent updates, new content, and balance adjustments without dating or naming any of them. The codes page exists separately, at /games/anime-apocalypse/codes, and treats every code as a dated source-listed signal rather than a working-code promise.

How the Game Works

Anime Apocalypse is an anime dungeon hack-and-slash zombie game: players fight through dungeons filled with zombies, obtain unique anime abilities, and experience unique game modes. The description lists slash action bound to M1 (left click), four skills on Z, X, C and V, a gadget on E, an ultimate on G, a dash on Q, and a slide on Ctrl. It also names parkour movement, pets, and gadgets. Servers hold up to 30 players. That is the honest limit of what we can state from the first-party description. We have not played the game and we are not going to describe ability damage values, dungeon layouts, boss attack patterns, pet progression, or loadout suggestions from second-hand summaries — if we cannot source it first-party, it does not go on the page.

Official Channels

Where to go for first-party information. We link these without nofollow because we have checked them and we do stand behind them, unlike the third-party trackers we cite on the codes page.

The raw API endpoints behind our figures are linked in the Live Snapshot section above rather than here, because they are a verification tool rather than somewhere a player would go.

Anime Apocalypse Codes (August 2026)

Three corroborated source-listed signals, many single-source cautions, disputed codes, and a large expired archive — with every code dated and attributed.

Codes

The codes page exists at /games/anime-apocalypse/codes. The description field names no code — it is evergreen Beta copy. BloxInform's third-party wiki, updated August 22, 2026, lists a SummerEvent code and a THETEMPESTKING code tied to the Tempest King + Summer Event update, but that is a third-party claim, not a first-party one. Full detail, sources and caveats are on the codes page.

Update Rule

We do not mark a code as active just because another page says it is active, and we do not quote a player count without saying when we read it. This page records what was checked, when it was checked, and where the evidence runs out.
