West Indies is a car-customisation and driving game set on an island inspired by the real West Indies, built by West Indies Studios, an unverified Roblox group. Every figure on this page comes from Roblox's own public API rather than a tracker's paraphrase, and each one is stamped with the moment we read it. At 22:35 UTC on August 18, 2026 the game was live as [CLANS🛡️ AND NEW LIMITEDS🚗]West Indies 🌴 with 174 players in game and 5,616,966 lifetime visits.

Coverage stance: We have first-party numbers and first-party description text for West Indies, and we have not played it. This hub stops where our evidence stops — there is no strategy guide here and no invented mechanics. Our codes page treats every code as a dated source-listed signal and states plainly where our two trackers disagree with each other.

Both links open the live JSON, so you can re-run our reading yourself rather than take our word for it — the numbers will have moved on since we read them, which is the point:

Live title at reading: [CLANS🛡️ AND NEW LIMITEDS🚗]West Indies 🌴 · Developer: West Indies Studios (Roblox group 415355829, no verified badge) · Universe 9533092812, root place 81487107838434.

This is a single reading rather than a trend line. West Indies is an open-world driving game rather than a round-based one, so concurrency swings hard with time of day and weekday — 174 players is a snapshot at 22:35 UTC, not a baseline, which is why we publish the exact minute we read it.

What These Numbers Actually Mean

Raw counts are easy to quote and easy to misread. These are the three derived figures we use internally to judge a game's shape, and what they say about West Indies.

  • Favourites as a share of visits — 1.82%. This is a retention signal in miniature: how many of the people who ever loaded the game cared enough to bookmark it. West Indies' 1.82% sits above the 1.5% line we treat as the signature of a favourite-gated in-game reward rather than pure retention — some games hand out an item or currency for hitting the favourite button, which inflates the ratio without telling you whether anyone came back. The developer's own description does not mention a favourite-triggered reward of any kind, so we cannot confirm that explanation here; we are flagging the shape of the number, not asserting its cause.
  • Favourites per concurrent player — about 588 to 1. This compares the size of the bookmarking audience to the size of the room at the moment we read it. Our internal band for a durable rotating audience runs 150 to 300 to 1, and a game where players roll through for a few weeks and move on tends to land nearer 20 to 1. West Indies' 588 to 1 sits above that band, but its concurrent count (174) is thin enough that a single reading can swing this ratio hard on its own — an alpha racing game read at a quiet hour will always push the ratio up. We would need more than one reading to settle it, and we do not have one yet.
  • Approval at 91.8% across 18,014 votes (16,530 up, 1,484 down). The vote count matters as much as the percentage: 18,014 is a real sample, but it is a fraction of a mature game's vote total, so a swing of a few hundred votes could move the headline percentage more here than it would on a larger board. We are not putting an all-time platform rank on any of these figures, because we did not verify one.

Original illustrationWest Indies' favourites sit at 1.82% of visits, above the 1.5% line we treat as a favourite-gated-reward signal, drawn as a picture. Our illustration of that ratio, not a chart generated from the data.

Put together: a seven-month-old alpha game, a thin concurrent reading at this particular moment, and an approval score resting on a modest sample. That is what an early alpha's numbers are supposed to look like, not a settled, durable audience the way we would describe an older title.

What Is Live Right Now

All of the following come from the game's own description field on the Roblox API, read August 18, 2026 — first-party, not a tracker's paraphrase.

  • Still in alpha. The title itself carries an [ALPHA] tag, and the description states plainly: "This game is still in alpha. Bugs can happen, and more features are still constantly being added." That is a first-party admission of the game's development stage, not our editorial framing.
  • A likes milestone that has already been passed. The description promises "NEXT CODE AT 15K LIKES!" At our reading the game had 16,530 upvotes — already past that 15,000 threshold. If the developer is honouring that promise, a milestone code tied to 15K likes should exist by now; our codes page (checked August 16, 2026) does not carry a code explicitly framed as the 15K-likes reward, which is worth watching on the next pass.
  • Two codes named directly by the developer. The description names codes under "USE CODES:" — ''80KMEMBERS??'' and "4THJULY!". Our codes page lists 4THJULY! as disputed, with one tracker calling it expired and the other still calling it live; the developer naming it directly, inside the description, as of this reading, favours the tracker that still calls it active. 80KMEMBERS?? does not appear on our codes page at all — a first-party code our trackers have missed.
  • A stated roadmap, not yet live. The description lists "New Updates Coming Soon": more cars, new locations, additional houses, and unspecified "bigger features." These are the developer's own stated plans, not features that exist yet, and we are not speculating about what they will look like.

Background

West Indies launched on January 9, 2026, which makes it about seven months old at this reading — considerably younger than most games we cover, and still carrying its [ALPHA] tag partly because of it. The most recent developer update the platform recorded was August 17, 2026, the day before this reading. Across the 221 days since launch it has accumulated 5,616,966 visits, which averages out to roughly 25,400 visits a day, though real traffic on a young alpha title is unlikely to be spread evenly — a single viral clip or code drop can dwarf an ordinary day. We do not have a confirmed start date for the code system itself; the description's own milestone language ties future codes to engagement targets rather than a calendar, and we are not going to guess at when the first one went out.

How the Game Works

West Indies is a driving and car-customisation game: the description says players buy, customise and drive realistic cars, from daily drivers to high-performance builds, and grow a car collection. It also describes a second progression track — buying "the house of your dreams," working your way up, and "becoming the boss." The developer's own control scheme for PC is F to start the vehicle, E to gear up, Q to gear down, and P for the parking brake, a manual-transmission-style driving model stated first-party rather than inferred from genre convention. Servers hold up to 25 players, the honest limit of what we can state about the world's scale. The live title itself promises "CLANS" and "NEW LIMITEDS," but neither term is explained anywhere in the description we read, so we are not going to invent what a clan does or how a limited vehicle is obtained.

Official Channels

Where to go for first-party information. We link these without nofollow because we have checked them and we do stand behind them, unlike the third-party trackers we cite on the codes page.

  • West Indies on Roblox — the game itself, and the description field most of this page is sourced from.
  • West Indies Studios — the developer group, which does not currently carry Roblox's verified badge.

The description mentions reporting bugs "in the community server," but does not link one directly, so we are not listing a Discord we have not verified ourselves. The raw API endpoints behind our figures are linked in the Live Snapshot section above rather than here, because they are a verification tool rather than somewhere a player would go.

Codes

West Indies has a code system. Our codes page, checked August 16, 2026, lists nine rows: four codes source-listed as active by both trackers, one with a disputed spelling, and four still disputed on live-versus-expired status. Redemption path, exact rewards, and full source citations live there, not here. See the flags above regarding 4THJULY! and ''80KMEMBERS??'' — both named directly inside the developer's own live description at this reading, which is the clearest first-party signal we have on any single code right now.

Update Rule

We do not mark a code as active just because another page says it is active, and we do not quote a player count without saying when we read it. This page records what was checked, when it was checked, and where the evidence runs out.
