The August 15 update slot: what we can and cannot show. Update 62 was expected on Saturday August 15, 2026, on the game's weekly Saturday pattern. We checked the game's own Roblox record directly through the platform API rather than through any tracker. The experience carries an updated timestamp of August 16, 2026 at 04:57 UTC — 9:57 PM Pacific on Saturday August 15, which does fit that Saturday pattern. Be careful what that proves: it tells us the experience was republished, nothing more. Roblox does not expose an update number, and the live title carries no update tag, so we cannot state first-hand that this republish was "Update 62", only that the game was republished in that window. What we can state first-hand is what is not there: the listing's title and description contain no code, the developer group's shout is empty, and the experience publishes no badges. On the tracker side, Eldorado's update log, its own date August 10, 2026, still lists Update 62 only as scheduled for August 15 with contents to be announced, and no source we checked attributes any code to Update 62. Set that against a real limitation before you read too much into it: the code trackers we rely on have not refreshed since Dexerto's August 14 pass, so their silence is partly the silence of pages nobody has updated yet, not proof that no code was issued. If a code did ship with this update, this game's history says it may already be dead — codes here have expired in hours.
Trust note: PCGamesN, its own page dated August 11, 2026, states no new code has appeared since the "67 plush rush" batch. Pocket Tactics, dated August 10, 2026, says the same. Read that agreement with one caveat: PCGamesN and Pocket Tactics are sister sites under the same publisher, so their two pages are closer to one editorial operation than to two independent checks. Against them, four pages under four different publishers still list BESTBRAINROTEVER as working and agree on the exact reward: Dexerto (its own stated update August 14, 2026), GamesRadar (its own stated update August 12, 2026), Eldorado (August 4) and Beebom (August 1). So the "zero codes" position belongs to one publisher and the still-listed position to several — but none of them is an in-game redemption by us, which is why the code stays disputed rather than active. On saturn the sources have converged: Dexerto moved it out of its active list and into its expired list in its August 14 refresh, GamesRadar's August 12 page also carries it as expired, and Eldorado retired it earlier — only Beebom's older August 1 page still calls it active, so saturn stays in the expired row. We have left BESTBRAINROTEVER flagged as disputed rather than deleting it, so you can see exactly where the sources split.
The Discord codes channel: what we can and cannot stand behind. PCGamesN, dated August 11, 2026, writes that "the codes channel in the Steal a Brainrot Discord Bulletin" was removed with UPD 11. Pocket Tactics, dated August 10, 2026, writes that a codes channel existed in the Discord server "up until recently" and that the developers have since removed it. That is the whole of the evidence we could actually read: the two pages share a publisher, so they are one editorial account rather than two independent ones, and none of Dexerto (August 14), GamesRadar (August 12), Eldorado (August 4) or Beebom (August 1) mentions a removal — Dexerto's August 14 page still tells readers new codes are usually announced through the official Discord. We could not inspect the Discord server ourselves to confirm it first-hand, and the game's own Roblox listing says nothing either way. So treat the removal as reported by one publisher, not as established. What follows from it is our reading, not a sourced fact: we do not know whether the developer intends to keep issuing codes at all. No source we checked publishes an announcement in either direction, and no source we checked lists any code issued after the 67 plush batch.
Ignore the long "23 working codes" lists. One high-ranking aggregator presents 23 codes as working under a rolling "last verified: today" stamp that carries no actual date. Fifteen of those 23 — including ILOVEFOOD123, SUMMERUPD3, OCTOBLOCK555, FREEOCTOBLOCK777, FREEPREMIUMOCTO777, WSUMMERUPD1, WAVERIDER4FREELOL, FREE500DRAGS, JOHNPORKDAPIGGY, CODESAREREAL321, L2EXPLOITERS and IMANEGG — sit in Beebom's expired list, and its own expired section holds only three entries. A list that retires almost nothing is not evidence, and we did not use it as a source here.

Current Status

No Steal a Brainrot code is confirmed redeemable right now. Since the last check, Bloxodes (August 24, 2026) has published three codes it lists as active: saturn, Festive67Plushcode and BESTBRAINROTEVER. This conflicts with stealabrainrot.app (August 24, 2026) which still reports no active codes, and with the earlier AllThings. How (June 17, 2026) zero-code position. The Saturday August 15 update slot passed without any source attributing a code to it. One disputed signal is listed below; treat it as a rumour, not a working code. No source we checked publishes an expiry date for it — on a game whose codes have historically died within hours, that missing expiry is the gap worth knowing about. The other signal we previously listed, saturn, has moved to the expired row after Dexerto retired it on August 14, 2026.

Codes to Check First

Code / SignalRewardStatus
BESTBRAINROTEVERSpawns a rare secret Brainrot at the Red Carpet (needs ~$80M cash on hand to claim before another player grabs it). Dexerto, GamesRadar and Eldorado all name the Brainrot as La Vacca Saturno SaturnitaDisputed — Dexerto (August 14), GamesRadar (August 12), Eldorado (August 4) and Beebom (August 1), four separate publishers, list it active and agree on the reward. Bloxodes (August 24, 2026) also lists it as verified active. PCGamesN (August 11) and Pocket Tactics (August 10), one publisher, say the game has zero working codes. stealabrainrot.app (August 24, 2026) agrees with the zero-code position. No source publishes an expiry date
Festive67PlushcodeUnique code emailed to purchasers of the Festive 67 Plush toy (limited to 50k). Not a shared public code — each buyer gets a random single-use codeSingle-source — Bloxodes (August 24, 2026) only. This is a merch code, not a free public code; it cannot be shared across accounts
saturnLa Vacca Saturno SaturnitaDisputed — Dexerto moved it to its expired list on August 14, 2026, and GamesRadar (August 12) and Eldorado (August 4) agree. But Bloxodes (August 24, 2026) now lists it as active again, adding it to their verified list. BloxGuidesGG (August 8) still lists BESTBRAINROTEVER as the only shared code, not saturn. The conflict is between one fresh source calling it live and three earlier ones calling it dead
ILOVEFOOD123 / SUMMERUPD3 / NEEDTHIS4CRAFT333 / OCTOBLOCK555 / FREEOCTOBLOCK777 / FREEOCTO555 / FREEPREMIUMOCTO777 / WSUMMERUPD1 / FREEOCTOBASE333W / WAVERIDER4FREELOL / FREE500DRAGS / JOHNPORKDAPIGGY / CODESAREREAL321 / L2EXPLOITERS / IMANEGG / BRUNOISBETTER / BLUESAMMY67 / PIZZAISYUM / DIVINECURSEDHistorical rewardsExpired — Beebom's expired list, August 1, 2026; Dexerto and Eldorado also carry these in their expired lists. PIZZAISYUM and DIVINECURSED come from GamesRadar's expired list, August 12, 2026

Sources checked August 26, 2026: Dexerto (its own stated update: August 14, 2026), GamesRadar (its own stated update: August 12, 2026), PCGamesN (its own stated update: August 11, 2026), Pocket Tactics (its own stated update: August 10, 2026), Eldorado (its own stated date: August 4, 2026), Beebom (its own stated update: August 1, 2026), and for the update timeline Eldorado's update log (its own stated date: August 10, 2026). We also read the game's own Roblox record directly through the platform API — title, description, developer group shout and badge list — which carries no codes; its updated timestamp read August 16, 2026 at 04:57 UTC. Of the trackers above, Bloxodes and stealabrainrot.app are the only ones refreshed since August 16, 2026 — and they disagree sharply on whether any codes are active. One further tracker, GameBoost, would not serve us its page and is not counted here. GGGuides labels these as dated signals unless confirmed in-game.

How to Redeem

Sources disagree on the current menu layout, likely because the UI changed across updates. Look for either path:

  1. Open the game and let your base load, then open the Shop button on the left side of the screen, scroll to the bottom, and enter the code in the text box.
  2. Or look for a separate CODES button on the left-hand menu (added in a later update) and submit the code there.
  3. Codes are free-text and often time-limited. Sources disagree on case: Dexerto says codes are case-sensitive, GamesRadar's August 12 page says they are not. Type the code exactly as published — that is safe under either account.

Update Rule

We do not mark a code as active just because another page says it is active. The page records what was checked, when it was checked, and what players should verify next.
