What RIVALS Is — And Isn't

RIVALS is a duel-based FPS where you face off against one opponent or team in a first-to-5-rounds format. It is the most popular competitive shooter on Roblox — significantly more active than rivals like Bad Business or The Strongest Battlegrounds in the FPS category. The game has a ranked ladder with separate ELO for 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 modes, and a weapon economy built around Keys (premium currency) and Wraps (cosmetic skins).

Every player brings four weapons into each match — one primary, one secondary, one melee, one utility. There are 40+ weapons across these categories, ranging from the free default Handgun to the ultra-rare Permafrost SMG obtained through Contraband contracts. The game supports full cross-platform play between PC, mobile, Xbox and PlayStation 5 — all in the same matchmaking pool.

Game Modes (21 total)

  • Ranked 1v1 / 2v2 / 3v3 — Competitive queue with ELO rating. Accessible at Level 100+ with 10 completed duels and 30 tasks.
  • 4v4 / 5v5 Duels — Larger team formats, casual only.
  • Free For All — Multi-player formats (1v1v1, 2v2v2, 3v3v3). Every player for themselves.
  • Team Deathmatch — 8v8, Purple (Nosniy Games) vs Yellow (Sensei Global). Most kills before time expires.
  • 2v2 Beginner Queue — Dedicated queue matching new players together.
