Cavity is an underwater cave horror and survival game from putluk's creations, a Roblox group without the platform's verified badge. Every figure on this page comes from Roblox's own public API rather than a tracker's paraphrase, and each one is stamped with the moment we read it. At 13:40 UTC on August 17, 2026 the game was live as cavity [RELEASE] with 12 players in game and 1,126,291 lifetime visits.

Coverage stance: We have first-party numbers for Cavity read directly from Roblox's own API, and we have not played the game. This hub stops where our evidence stops — there is no strategy guide here and no invented mechanics. Our codes page treats every code as a dated source-listed signal and flags the one release code that trackers still disagree on.

What These Numbers Actually Mean

Raw counts are easy to quote and easy to misread. These are the three derived figures we use internally to judge whether a game is durable, and what they say about Cavity.

  • Favourites as a share of visits — 3.05%. This is roughly double the 1.5% level that typically signals a favourite-gated in-game reward — a setup where favouriting the game itself unlocks something. Cavity's own description does not mention favouriting as a requirement for any reward, so we cannot point to that as the cause. The ratio is simply unusually high for a game this size, and we are flagging it rather than explaining it away.
  • Favourites per concurrent player — about 2,867 to 1. This compares the size of the returning population to the size of the room right now. Our two reference points are roughly 20 to 1 for a game whose players have mostly moved on, and 150 to 300 to 1 for a large game with a durable rotating audience. Cavity's ratio sits far above both bands, which we read as a sign that concurrent players have fallen a long way from wherever they once were, without a source to tell us why.
  • Approval at 90.9% across 11,134 votes. The vote count matters as much as the percentage — 10,123 up against 1,011 down is a modest but real sample for a game with only 12 people in it right now.

Original illustration34,407 favourites against just 12 concurrent players is roughly 2,867 to 1, per the Roblox API figures above. This is drawn artwork, not a screenshot of the actual game.

Put together: a young game at eight and a half months old, a small live population right now, and a favourite count and visit total that are both disproportionately large next to that population. That combination does not match either of our two reference patterns cleanly, so we are not putting a verdict on it — just the numbers and the timestamp.

What Is Live Right Now

All of the following come from the game's own description field on the Roblox API, read August 17, 2026 — first-party, not a tracker's paraphrase.

  • A live code, stated in-game. The description itself instructs players to "use code "500kvisitsAND1000ccu" for 100 money" — not a future milestone, but a code the developer is currently telling players to redeem. It matches one of the four entries on our codes page, so we have first-party confirmation for at least that one.
  • The developer's own bug notice. The description reads, verbatim: "plz note that the game is very buggy pls dont throw tomatoes at me im trying." That is the developer's own account of the game's current state, not our assessment.
  • Content warnings. The description carries its own warning that the game "contains loud sounds, screamers, and maybe flashing lights" — a first-party photosensitivity-style notice.
  • A player-count conflict. The description recommends 4 players "to prevent lag" while advertising "multiplayer support up to 8 players," and the platform's own maxPlayers field allows up to 25. We list all three numbers rather than pick one, because picking one would mean guessing which is authoritative.

Background

Cavity launched on November 18, 2025, making it about eight and a half months old at this reading. The most recent developer update recorded by the platform was August 17, 2026 at 08:12 UTC — hours before we read it. The description credits two people by name: putluk (owner, lead developer, scripter, animator, music, room designer/builder, game design) and Mubrik (co-owner, room designer/builder, specifically credited for "room 50," and easter eggs). Our codes page carries a dated archive of code signals going back to Try Hard Guides' July 12, 2026 check, though we have no first-party source for exactly when the code system itself began.

How the Game Works

Cavity is a horror survival game the developer's own description calls "like doors in an underwater cave," where players try to escape while buying upgrades and playing with friends. The description states there are "a lot of rooms to make the gameplay more unique," that players can find "items, corals, collectable thingies," that the game "is forcing u to help ur teammates," and that it includes "cool animations and cutscenes." PC controls listed in the description: Shift to sprint, Backspace while holding an item to drop it, H to unlock the mouse, and F to toggle the flashlight. The description's own tags also file the game under classes, doors, entities and pressure, but it does not explain what any of those mean in practice. That is where we stop: we are not describing what a class does, how an entity behaves, or what a pressure system involves, because the developer has not written that down anywhere we can point to.

Official Channels

Where to go for first-party information. We link these without nofollow because we have checked them and we do stand behind them, unlike the third-party trackers we cite on the codes page.

  • Cavity on Roblox — the game itself, and the description field that most of this page is sourced from.
  • putluk's creations — the developer group, which does not carry Roblox's verified badge.

The description does not link an official Discord or other community channel, so we are not listing one. The raw API endpoints behind our figures are linked in the Live Snapshot section above rather than here, because they are a verification tool rather than somewhere a player would go.

Codes

Cavity's code system is tracked across four independent sources on our codes page, and we can confirm one of them — 500kvisitsAND1000ccu for 100 Money — directly from the game's own description above. Codes are listed as case-sensitive by our sources, and the redemption path varies by tracker, so full detail, sources and the one disputed code are on the codes page rather than repeated here.

Update Rule

We do not mark a code as active just because another page says it is active, and we do not quote a player count without saying when we read it. This page records what was checked, when it was checked, and where the evidence runs out.
