Anime Vanguards is a Roblox tower-defense and strategy game built around anime-parody units, developed by Kitawari, a Roblox group. Every figure on this page comes from Roblox's own public API rather than a tracker's paraphrase, and each one is stamped with the moment we read it. At 12:24 UTC on August 17, 2026 the game was live as Anime Vanguards: 25th Hour with 25,910 players in game and 2,017,153,133 lifetime visits.

Coverage stance: We have first-party player numbers for Anime Vanguards straight from Roblox's API, and we have not played the game. Its own description field is short, evergreen marketing copy — it names no current event, code or patch, so this hub does not carry a "What Is Live Right Now" section the way a game with a richer description would. Our codes page treats every code as a dated source-listed signal, not a developer-confirmed one, and states plainly where the sources it checked disagree. This hub stops where our evidence stops — no strategy guide and no invented mechanics.

Both links open the live JSON, so you can re-run our reading yourself — the numbers will have moved on since we read them, which is the point:

What Is Live Right Now

Roblox's own description field, quoted above, is unchanged evergreen copy — it names no event, code or Persona content. What follows instead comes from Roblox's own Events listing and from wiki.vanguards.gg, a fan wiki that tracks the developer's Discord announcements and keeps a dated release log per unit. We checked Kitawari's official X account (@Kitawari_) ourselves and found only a 2025 hiring post, nothing about this update.

  • 25th Hour, Update 14.5. Roblox's own Events page, hosted by Kitawari, lists "25th Hour" as Update 14.5, dated August 11–12, 2026. wiki.vanguards.gg's events archive, read August 18, 2026, says the second set of "25th Hour" seasonal events began 11 August 2026 and describes the event named after the update as one that gives rewards for evolving the new units it introduced.
  • Event Coins. Per wiki.vanguards.gg's FAQ page, Event Coins are earned by completing quests in an update's Events menu and exchanged for Trait Rerolls, one coin per reroll. The wiki ties this system to evolving an update's new units during its event window; we could not open a dedicated 25th Hour sub-page to confirm exact coin amounts.
  • Two Persona-inspired units. wiki.vanguards.gg's dated unit pages list two Secret-rarity units released August 10, 2026 for the 25th Hour update: Apathetic Savior, "inspired by Makoto Yuki from Persona 3," and Phantom Thief, "inspired by Ren Amamiya, under his costumed alias 'Joker,' from Persona 5." Both are Lunar Bridge Dungeon drops, not code rewards, and we found no source naming further Persona characters.
  • Codes tied to the update. Games outlet PCGamesN (Joshua Brown), updated August 13, 2026, reported that "with a bunch of Persona characters now in the game," it added three new codes — including one named 25thHour — to help players get, build and reroll them. Full code detail is on our codes page.

Background

Roblox's platform data lists the Anime Vanguards universe as created on January 28, 2024, which puts it at roughly two and a half years old as of this reading. The most recent developer update the platform recorded was August 17, 2026 at 09:57 UTC — a few hours before we read these figures. The credited developer is Kitawari, a Roblox group (ID 17219742) that does not currently carry Roblox's verified group badge. Across those roughly 932 days it has accumulated just over two billion visits, which averages out to roughly 2.16 million visits per day of its life (2,017,153,133 visits ÷ 932 days) — an average rather than a trend, since real traffic is far from evenly spread.

How the Game Works

Roblox's own description for Anime Vanguards says players summon units to fight off enemies, level up and evolve those units for the battles ahead, and can play with friends across multiple game modes. That is the whole of what the developer states about how the game plays — it names no specific currency, no evolution requirement and no mode by name. We have not played Anime Vanguards ourselves, so this is where the section stops: three verbs from the developer's own text, nothing carried over from a wiki or a tracker's walkthrough.

  • Anime Vanguards on Roblox — the game itself, and the description field most of this page is sourced from.
  • Kitawari — the Roblox group credited as the developer in the platform's own API.

The raw API endpoints behind our figures are linked in the Live Snapshot section above rather than here, because they are a verification tool rather than somewhere a player would go.

Anime Vanguards Codes (August 2026)

Source-listed code signals rechecked for the 25th Hour update, the account Level 30 requirement, a disputed row, redeem steps and the code cadence.

Codes

Anime Vanguards has a code system. The sources our codes page checked gate the current batch behind account Level 30 and redeem them through the Profile menu's Codes button. The game's own description names no codes at all, so every code on our codes page is a dated third-party signal rather than a developer-confirmed one. Full detail, sources and the disputed row are on the codes page.

Update Rule

We do not mark a code as active just because another page says it is active, and we do not quote a player count without saying when we read it. This page records what was checked, when it was checked, and where the evidence runs out.
