Adopt Me! is a pet-adoption and roleplay experience on Roblox from Uplift Games, the verified Roblox group the platform's own developer field credits as the creator. Every figure on this page comes from Roblox's own public API rather than a tracker's paraphrase, and each one is stamped with the moment we read it. At 12:27 UTC on August 19, 2026 the game was live as [😼] Adopt Me! with 382,895 players in game and 44,447,431,527 lifetime visits.
Live Snapshot
Read directly from Roblox's own public endpoints at 12:27 UTC on August 19, 2026, for universe 383310974 (root place 920587237). These are raw platform fields, not estimates. Both links open the live JSON, so you can re-run our reading yourself rather than take our word for it — the numbers will have moved on since we read them, which is the point:
games.roblox.com/v1/games— players in game, visits, favourites, created and updated dates, live title.games.roblox.com/v1/games/votes— the up and down vote counts behind the approval figure.

What These Numbers Actually Mean
Three ratios turn the raw counts above into something readable, and each one is shown with the arithmetic behind it rather than asserted on its own.
Favourites against visits: 29,470,772 favourites over 44,447,431,527 visits is 0.066% — nowhere near the roughly 1.5% mark that would signal a favourite-gated in-game reward forcing the click. This reads as ordinary accumulated favouriting spread across nine years of a genuinely large, returning audience rather than a manufactured spike.
Favourites against concurrent players: 29,470,772 favourites divided by 382,895 players in game at the moment we read it is roughly 77:1. That sits between the two reference points worth knowing — around 20:1 tends to mark a game that churns through a large one-time audience, while 150–300:1 tends to mark a durable, rotating playerbase that keeps coming back. Seventy-seven to one says Adopt Me's lifetime reach is far larger than any single server snapshot can show, without landing cleanly in either band.
Approval with its sample size: 86.1% approval is 9,362,371 up-votes against 1,509,161 down-votes, a total of 10,871,532 votes. A percentage on its own tells you nothing about how many people voted; here the sample is over ten million, which is large enough that the figure is not noise.
What Is Live Right Now
The developer's own description field, read above in Live Snapshot, names a current in-game event but gives no start date, no end date and no currency amounts — everything in this section is quoted directly from that field, line by line, with nothing added. It reads: "Tux & Shepherd on the Stray Case," a detective-styled questline; "Find forks for the Mysterious Stranger!", naming a specific fetch objective and an unnamed NPC; "Chihuahua found in Basic and Crystal Eggs!", which confirms a Chihuahua pet is currently obtainable from two named egg types, Basic Eggs and Crystal Eggs; and "Dress your pet as the Spy or the Witness!", a cosmetic tie-in to the same mystery theme. The description does not say when this event started or when it ends, so we are not going to guess — if a tracker later publishes a close date, that is a third-party claim, not a first-party one. The description also credits the game's founders directly: NewFissy as Tech Director and Bethink as Creative Director, with a link to Uplift Games' own credits and attributions page on the Roblox developer forum.
Background
Roblox's own platform data gives Adopt Me a creation date of July 14, 2017, which puts the game at 3,322 days old — about 9.1 years — as of our August 19, 2026 reading. Uplift Games' own site, uplift.games, states the game is "cherished by 425M+ players worldwide" and that players have logged "4B+" hours in it, first-party figures from the developer's own site rather than the live API. Third-party coverage fills in the history the API can't: PCGamesN, in an article dated March 2, 2021, reported that Adopt Me had just become the first Roblox game to reach 20 billion total visits. It no longer holds that record — BloxQuiz.gg, read on August 19, 2026 and stated to update hourly, currently ranks it third all-time by visits behind Brookhaven RP (86.6B) and Blox Fruits (63.6B), with its own Adopt Me figure of 44.4B visits landing almost exactly on our own live API reading of 44,447,431,527, which is a useful cross-check between an independent tracker and the platform's own number. The developer's description gives no dated patch history and no mention of when the game's promotional code system began; that gap is covered, with its own sourcing caveats, on the codes page.
How the Game Works
The developer's own description sums the game up in one line: players "adopt and raise" pets, "trade and collect legendary pets," "build your dream home," and "roleplay with friends." Uplift Games' own site adds one more first-party detail, describing the setting as "a magical island filled with cute new friends to adopt." The live event note above confirms that pets are obtained from eggs, and names two specific egg types currently in play, Basic Eggs and Crystal Eggs — "legendary" is stated as a real rarity tier in the description itself, though no other tier name is given anywhere first-party.
Trading is named directly in the description as a core activity, alongside collecting. Beyond that one-line summary and the egg mechanic the current event confirms, the description does not explain how eggs are obtained or hatched, what determines a pet's rarity beyond the single word "legendary," how the housing or roleplay systems work, or whether the game has a jobs, vehicle or currency system at all — third-party guides describe all of these at length, but we have not played the game and we are not going to repeat second-hand mechanics as fact. That is the honest limit of what the developer's own words state.

Where to go for first-party information. We link these without nofollow because we have checked them and we do stand behind them, unlike the third-party trackers we cite on the codes page.
- Adopt Me! on Roblox — the game itself, and the description field most of this page is sourced from.
- Uplift Games — the verified Roblox group the platform's own creator field credits as the developer.
- uplift.games — the studio's own site, source of the 425M+ players and 4B+ hours-played figures cited above.
- Uplift Games credits and attributions — linked directly from the game's own description field.
The raw API endpoints behind our figures are linked in the Live Snapshot section above rather than here, because they are a verification tool rather than somewhere a player would go.

Adopt Me Codes (August 2026)
One source-listed signal from the tracker round-up, the redemption steps, and where a more recent read disagrees.
Codes
Adopt Me has one source-listed code signal as of our last codes-page check on August 19, 2026: PROUDFROG, redeemable for a Proud Frog Sticker. Three independent trackers dated between August 1 and August 3, 2026 corroborate it as active; a fourth, read the same day as this page, reports it already expired and replaced. The developer's own description does not mention a code system at all, so there is no first-party list to check codes against. Codes are entered at the Code Redemption Kiosk beside the NPC Agent Ruhi inside the Safety Hub, reached from Adoption Island. Full detail, the exact source conflict and dates are on the codes page.

Update Rule
We do not mark a code as active just because another page says it is active, and we do not quote a player count without saying when we read it. This page records what was checked, when it was checked, and where the evidence runs out.
