Rivals is a first-person shooter from Nosniy Games, a verified Roblox group, built around 1v1 to 5v5 duels. Every figure on this page comes from Roblox's own public API rather than a tracker's paraphrase, and each one is stamped with the moment we read it. At 19:46 UTC on August 18, 2026 the game was live as RIVALS with 198,669 players in game and 17,449,962,592 lifetime visits.

Coverage stance: We have first-party numbers and first-party event facts for Rivals, and we have not played it. This hub stops where our evidence stops — there is no strategy guide here and no invented mechanics. Our codes page treats every code as a dated source-listed signal, holds two contested codes out of the active table, and states plainly where trackers disagree with each other.

Both links open the live JSON, so you can re-run our reading yourself rather than take our word for it — the numbers will have moved on since we read them, which is the point:

What These Numbers Actually Mean

Raw counts are easy to quote and easy to misread. These are the three derived figures we use internally to judge whether a game is durable, and what they say about Rivals.

  • Favourites as a share of visits — 0.506%. This is a retention signal: how many of the people who showed up cared enough to bookmark. Rivals sits comfortably under the 1.5% line that would suggest a favourite-gated in-game reward. The description does tie a reward to liking the game and joining its group, but that is the thumbs-up vote, not the favourite, so it does not explain this figure.
  • Favourites per concurrent player — about 444 to 1. This compares the size of the returning population to the size of the room at any one moment. It sits well above the 150-to-300-to-1 band we treat as a durable rotating audience, consistent with a much larger game where a big crowd cycles through relative to any single server's 40-player cap.
  • Approval at 93.8% across 11,018,090 votes. The vote count matters as much as the percentage — a rating on a small sample is noise, while this one rests on eleven million votes. It is also worth reading next to the description's own line asking players to like the game for a reward, which we cover below, since that pull sits inside this sample rather than outside it.

Put together: just over two years old, still carrying close to 200,000 concurrent players at the moment we read it, and a large-sample approval rating even after accounting for the vote incentive. We are not putting an all-time platform rank on the visit count, because we did not verify one.

What Is Live Right Now

All of the following come from the game's own description field on the Roblox API, read August 18, 2026 — first-party, not a tracker's paraphrase.

  • Update 21 and the Summer Event. The description says Update 21 brought "the first ever RIVALS Summer Event" to the game, and points players to the in-game patch notes for the details — it does not itself describe what the event contains, so neither do we.
  • An award credit. The description credits the game with a "RIA25 Best Shooter Experience" award. We are reporting that the developers wrote this in their own listing, not confirming the award exists or which body issued it.
  • A like-and-join incentive. The description asks players to like the game and join its Roblox group for exclusive rewards — the same incentive that sits behind the approval figure above.

Background

Rivals launched on May 26, 2024 and has been updated continuously since — the most recent developer update recorded by the platform was August 10, 2026, eight days before this reading. Across those roughly 814 days it has accumulated over 17.4 billion visits, which averages out to roughly 21.4 million visits per day of its life, though real traffic is far from evenly spread.

Original illustrationThe listing is now at Update 21, one sign of the continuous update cadence since the May 26, 2024 launch. Our illustration of that update cadence, not a capture of any real patch notes.

The description states the game is available on Desktop, Phones, Tablets, Xbox, and PlayStation 5, and it carries a standing anti-cheat warning: cheaters are permanently banned with no second chances, and abusing glitches or using "sketchy farming methods" is also barred. Both are first-party player-facing facts rather than opinion, which is why we mention them here rather than leaving them out.

How the Game Works

Rivals is a first-person shooter built around duels: players challenge each other by stepping on a duel pad, and the winner of a 1v1 to 5v5 match is whoever reaches five points first. Servers hold up to 40 players at once, running multiple duels in parallel. Progression runs on keys, earned to unlock new weapons and skins, and contracts, completed to unlock exclusive rewards; the game also tracks win streaks and a leaderboard. That is the honest limit of what we can state. We have not played the game and we are not going to describe weapon balance, contract objectives, duel pad placement or map-specific routes from second-hand summaries — if we cannot source it first-party, it does not go on the page.

Official Channels

Where to go for first-party information. We link these without nofollow because we have checked them and we do stand behind them, unlike the third-party trackers we cite on the codes page.

  • Rivals on Roblox — the game itself, and the description field that most of this page is sourced from.
  • Nosniy Games — the verified developer group, where update and event announcements are posted.

The raw API endpoints behind our figures are linked in the Live Snapshot section above rather than here, because they are a verification tool rather than somewhere a player would go.

Codes

Rivals has an active code system. As of our codes page's August 16, 2026 check, FREE193 and COMMUNITY25 are the newest source-listed signals, though only one tracker had published them at that point, and the previous pair, FREE192 and COMMUNITY24, had just become contested. Redemption runs through the Shop button, then More, then Codes, then Verify; sources note that verification step requires following the developer's accounts on X, having joined the Nosniy Games Roblox group, and having completed the shooting range tasks. Full detail, sources and caveats are on the codes page.

Update Rule

We do not mark a code as active just because another page says it is active, and we do not quote a player count without saying when we read it. This page records what was checked, when it was checked, and where the evidence runs out.
